I love the look of body ink; but, for me, even my nephew's stick-on, smurf tattoo is far too much bodily commitment. Reddish Studio offers a flesh-free way to invite the art form into your life— applying traditional tattoo art to edgy interior design products.
With the studio's signature playful style— combining various art forms not usually seen in furniture design with traditional quality craftsmanship— the Yakuza table series is composed of handmade pieces wherein wood surfaces stand in for skins displaying artful tattoos. Much like real tattoos, the pieces are made to order and speak volumes about their proprietors' personal sense of style.

I love the look and ESPECIALLY the title! Good one! ;^)
Oh my... that is gorgeous. And since I like it has to cost a fortune. Murphy's law of interior design.
Wow this is really cool! It's so subtle too. Me wants it!
Wood transfers can look cheap, and the fact that these look like they belong on an actual body, anatomically-correct-ly speaking, I can't stop but think of a decapitated bending-himself-backward man... and I couldn't enjoy that in my living room... if it wasn't so realistic, it'd be cutter... maybe just the top 1/2 of the legs, ending in the top 1/8th, would give it a slightly less body-like effect, be even more subtle, and not as... challenging to incorporate into everyday living? IDK... mixed feelings on this one.
Oh, and I'm sorry, I totally forgot the tutorial to Wood Transfer. DIY anyone?
