When I returned from a tropical getaway last week, I left behind the luxuries of fresh towels, clean sheets and a daily maid, for a pile of laundry and an apartment in need of being swiffered. Despite this unfortunate trade-off, walking into our apartment post vacation was a great reminder of what I really love about our home.Ultimately, it's the people that make a place. Their personalities rub off on their homes and the way they live, adding intrigue and drawing us in.
Yes, I've been meaning to center the artwork above our bed and replace the curtains in the bedroom, but these little flaws weren't what stood out to me. I saw our comfy couch, all messed up with blankets and pillows, and home, with my boyfriend, was exactly where I wanted to be.
