If repurposing's your thing, or if you simply enjoy the clever ways people and designers can breathe new life into old objects, then Reestore has got some eye candy for you.

Reestore is designer Max McMurdo's label for his line of recycled home goods. By now you may already have seen the claw-foot tub turned couch, but the shopping cart lounge chair, milk bottle mould lamp and traffic cone / strainer hanging lamp deserve attention.

Adding to the quirky, fun feel of Reestore's goods are their names -- each one has a first name, like Max, Annie, Katherine, John and Laura, reminding us of Marvin, the Paranoid Android in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

That model is way too distracting;)
That's not a model anymore, natalia... he's now a repurposed chair in the shape of a human.... you have first dibs ;)
The concept is thought-provoking. As is the model, who, no doubt, could be repurposed for a number of household needs
:-)) This idea of repurposing sounds better and better.
This is a clever idea. But I don't think I'd like to cozy up in that tub-sofa. Whether or not the model would join me.
