While there is wonderful art created with children in mind, we don't like to limit ourselves and usually pick things for our son's space that we would put anywhere in our home. Hungarian illustrator and graphic artist Reka Kiraly's work is welcome in our home anytime.
Reka's bold, colorful work reminds us of something our parents would have picked out in the late 60s (to compliment their Yellow Submarine album) yet it still feels very modern. It also has a folk art element reminiscent of Charley Harper that appeals to us. We enjoyed looking through Reka's sketchbook of line drawings (and she sells an awesome coloring book of her drawings called Soselandia) and she has five prints for sale.
