Reknit was launched by graphic designer Haik Avanian, and all the unraveling and reknitting is done by Haik's mother. Thus, there are only 30 order slots available due, as Haik says, "to the unexpectedly overwhelming response in January, and because I only have one mom." That sounds reasonable to us.
