This design takes the idea of a "spa bathroom" to the next level and gives a standard fixture in any home a dual-purpose. The Relax Lounger supports up to 130 kg (286 pounds) and already existing Conoduo tubs from Kaldewei can be retrofitted to support the Relax Lounger.
While this design is a high-end (certain to be expensive) accessory for an expensive tub, the idea behind it is brilliant — if your tub could support a similiar design, would you use it?

I recall seeing something similar that some homeowners made themselves for their LA home on "House Beautiful" when they had a TV show...
Might be nice for seating in a small bathroom or folded for sitting to soak your feet, but where would you put it when actually bathing? I don't spend enough time in my bathroom to justify something like this -- if I want to "lounge" I do it elsewhere.
"Hey hun, I'm gonna go take a nap in the bathroom- if you have to do your 'business,' just try to be quiet ok?"

Maybe not this particular one, but I like the concept. My studio apartment has a teeny tiny bathroom (let's just say that even the "tiny" bathrooms shown on this site are gigantic compared to mine) so I support anything that may maximize use of a room. While I normally lounge in my main room, it would be nice to have an alternative option.
Would this be for Japanese-style bathing, where the hot water is kept for a day or two for multiple soaks? In that case, I'm for it.
Otherwise, I suppose if I had a giant bathroom, and mostly showered instead of having a soak, and maybe didn't want my cats to leave their fur in the tub, I might use this if it was easy and lightweight.
i like it ... needs a bathroom with alternatives, though, doesn't it? and enough room to stow it when you do need the tub ... (i think a pillow would take care of the faucet, btw :-D )
