does anyone else think this makes telling time way more complicated than it needs to be?

As a gesture of protest, I will not change the time on my clocks this weekend.
Phaugh. This makes telling time something you have to work on instead of just glance at. I'd probably modify this to be something far more interesting that would use the movement of the hands.
