Renovating an Old Steel Filing Cabinet with Wood

The photo you see above is what happens when a furniture designer finds an abandoned steel filing cabinet that's missing its door on an unnamed street in Brooklyn. Rather than pass it by, Gregory Buntain used his skills to transform it into the great looking cabinet shown here.

Gregory is a domestic product and furniture designer so transforming materials in to things of function is what he does. Gregory replaced the missing steel door with hardwood slats. The name/address stamp remains on its top drawer and reads Frank Di Vito, the new name of the filing cabinet.
