Kitchen cabinets don't have to be white or wood. Colorful cabinets can take your kitchen in a pleasantly unexpected direction.
The color can be bold but doesn't have to be in-your-face. In some cases it can almost be neutral (Images 4, 5, and 6). You can be bold by putting color on both upper and lower cabinets (Images 3 and 6). You can play up a color by (Image 2) and anchor a room (Image 4) by keeping interesting hues just on bottom cabinets. And if you're really gutsy, you can do floor-to-ceiling cabinets and the walls in the same color (Image 10).
