When I spotted this project on Instructables I immediately wondered what IKEA product this was and why I hadn't seen it before. It turns out that this mini-hack is a smart combination of two products that just happen to work great together.
Audrey Obscura combined a suction towel rack from IKEA's bathroom section with plastic BYGEL containers which hang off the rail to make a mini hanging garden on her window. It's a smart solution for providing maximum light for plants and for those of us who can't or don't want to drill holes into our walls with the BYGEL rail.
Two important notes: the suction towel rack is intended for use on glass, tile or mirrors and has a maximum load of 4.7 lbs so keep both those things in mind if you give this a try.
