Lovely spaces. I've never lived in a rental where we could even put items up on the wall. That one thing makes such a difference.
After all the posts about painting in a rental, it's ironic that all of these 'done right' apartments have white walls! Also, I would suggest that it's more a case of the renters here having the budget to afford places with great bones (wood floors, white walls, good light and high ceilings).

These rentals are lucky to have such beautiful wood floors. All my rentals have always consisted of drab carpeting and/or linoleum.
I agree with that. Definitely one thing to start with amazing bones and architectural detail rather than builder-basic apartments.
