Q: During a recent move, a rubber foot on the base of my Corbusier LC4 chaise was lost. Any ideas for finding/fashioning a replacement?

Editor: The pic above is from Cape Cod Shops, where a set of the feet is listed for $50. Readers, any other sources Michael might try? Please leave your suggestions for him in the comments — thanks!

I would try any firm that sells reproductions (licensed or not)....I once went looking for feet for my Eames desk chair and a dealer (alas I can't remember which one but they were based in the Carolinas) -- was willing to send me a replacement for free.
You might try http://www.highbrowfurniture.com - I know they have replacement parts for Eames designs, but not sure about the Le Corbusier stuff, though.
Trying to make one out of Sugru would be an inexpensive option.
$55 for a set of four from Palezzetti. Google is an amazing tool. I googled "le corbusier chase parts." :)

Cassina holds the license for Le Corbusier furniture and I know they sell replacement parts. They have a show room in NYC or you can call them.

Thanks for jogging my memory.
Lost mine too, and didn't think to ask here, so now I will buy the real things, but if you want a cheaper solution, I stuck some of these on it, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KKXGAQ/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00 and it looks kind of cute - and I love being able to slide it around on the wood floor!
