When life gives you lemons you make lemonade, but what happens when life gives you a plethora of empty snack containers? Well you make a numbered toddler bowling game of course.
Although theses containers will eventually end up in the recycling bin, if you can get a little more use out of them before that, why not? Over at Nice Girl Notes they've been busy applying vinyl stickers to used snack containers (sans label) to make a quick and easy bowling game.
If you don't have these exact containers around we're sure there's something that's used in your house that might work for this purpose (like soda or juice bottles). You can always ask friends and family members to save a few for you as well. Check out the details on how it was done over at Nice Girl Notes — there's even a video of it in action!

Shaw's Original Fir...
I did this with my daughter a couple months ago. She LOVES the puffs so we always have them hanging around. We had lots of fun!
I wish AT posts had a "like" button.
Is bowling actually fun when you don't have an automatic thingy to set the pins back up? Just askin'...
mauishopgirl - You're in luck, they DO have a like button! It's up there above the jump, after the opening text! Like away!
TexanHolly - Yes, but only when your teach your toddlers to knock them down AND set them up themselves :)
This would be WAY better than the actual kids' bowling set we were given. The bottoms of the pins are narrow and not even very flat, so setting them up (even for adults) is an exercise in frustration.
Love it! I have a few waiting for recycling.
Zico coconut water bottles also work well!
So awesome!! My 15 month old is going bowling tonight... :)
