Towels are something that every household uses and in turn, wears out. We've mentioned a few ways to reuse them before, but why not try putting them to use by making them into bolster pillows? It's not as tricky as you might think, check out the tutorial after the jump.
Over at Curbly, our go to source for upholstered diy items, we ran across this fabulous bolster pillow made from discarded towels. We have a few "dog towels" that are finally at their end and think it would be a great project to utilize them in without turning them into more tea-towels or hand towels.
The supplies you'll need are listed above—the paint can is to trace around, so if you don't have one, something of similar size will work out just fine. For homes with little storage, this technique could also work to store extra towels for guests without taking up space in the closet. Just keep them in plain sight on your sofa!

Wow! What a great idea! Thanks!
good use of old towels.
what a great idea!!!
I've done this! I thought I was being really cheap and borderline trashy at the time. Good to know I'm not.
I'm all for this - except maybe with the dog towels!
wow! sweet idea!
Smart !
"except maybe with the dog towels!" I'm sure they washed them first, so they automatically become just old towels.
