Using what you've got, making something from nothing, reducing, reusing, recycling - these are all reasons we here at Apartment Therapy love a good repurposing. Which brings us to London design studio &Made...
Their Lost & Found Stools are made from furniture found on the street combined with solid timber. Same goes for their Lost & Found Tables. Both collections of furnishings were made for a cafe interior at the East London Design Show.

Ercol Bar Stool
no. there is a difference when it is done right and when it just looks like you taken a cut of a tree trunk and slapped in on some chair legs. it looks like something that could have been done by a 10 year old with an axe living in africa.
No.
I grow weary of logs and stumps.
Terrible
Maybe on a front porch in the mountains....or the Alps.
interesting.... looks very uncomfortable.
The green legs are adorable, but I'm not a huge fan of the log look. They'd look awesome with a little marble top instead!
I am a fan of the appropriate use of the editorial we though: "we here at Apartment Therapy".
Frankenstein furniture gone terribly wrong. The only piece I like is the last one because it actually works; I like the interesting shape of the wood tabletop with the red legs.
I think if the little rocking stump didn't have the bark on it and it was actually smooth and weathered it would look amazing...and more inviting.
