Turns out, a lot of major retailers are using this as a chance to celebrate Earth for a week, and are bringing consumers great deals on energy-saving appliances, green cleaning products, organic materials, and more. Home Depot: While supplies last, you can get a free CFL and a free water-saving faucet aerator. And all seed packets, including organics, are buy one get one free until April 28.
At Target, free reusable bags (according to our local weekly ad; check your weekly ad to confirm), and everything green is on sale, from Energy Star flat screen TVs to organic sheets to Tom's and Burt's Bees products.
Even Wal-Mart is using April to celebrate Earth month, offering sales and tips for its customers.
Ikea points out that "every day is Earth Day" and offers a list of ways they've always done their part to contribute to the environment.

And, finally, if you go see Disney's Earth this week, you'll be planting a tree.
