This ottoman was rescued outside the back door of a department store. Even though it had been laid off from its sales position in the shoe department, I knew it still had a long life ahead of it. It just needed some love.
A new tweed suit, some button tufting, and it's back in service and looking quite handsome. Is it wrong to love a piece of furniture? Because I might just marry this ottoman now.

Nomade Express Slee...
Very Nice.
I am just wondering why this post is in Ohdeedoh, and not AT.
Yum.
WOW. I want it.
people on this site have such talent
great, great job!
Ha, applebomb, I think it's because there's a cute kid sneaking into the Before picture. ;)
how do you do that?!
Its great!
Are there usually such good "befores" out the backdoor of department stores? I might want to park my car outside the mall. And hover.
fabulous! i'm with *simplist* here...my days off could have a new 'hovering' activity!
the legs were replaced too...where did you find those wooden legs?
I think they're the same silver legs polished up and reflecting the hardwood floor. This is great!!
wow, very nice indeed!
I'm impressed! Very well done.
If you're thinking of marrying it,
maybe you otto, man.
I love a good pun and a good re-upholstery story. Thanks!
