Recently we found ourselves desperately in the market for a new Swiffer; after more than 10 years of picking up dust off our floors the rubber is deteriorating and crumbling away as we sweep, in chunks. It seems like a good time to turn over a new leaf and find a green-friendly alternative to tossing out those little sheets after each use too. We just love the idea of using a chenille sock and bits from an old T-shirt for this DIY project.
Sew Much Ado shows how to make one of these in under 30 minutes. For more ideas on the subject, check out our previous post.
