Years ago I used to live in a studio where I had but a single balcony window. It was my first residence out of college, and it was a labyrinth of gloomy rentals that all looked into a common space, seemingly designed by Eastern European Communist gulag architects. Living there for but a year, I learned how important having a window is. Even a fake window...or in this case, the recreation of shadows and light through a window created by the Reveal Light projection system.
