"The Reveal Ottoman is meant to function as a coffee table and storage ottoman. When closed, it’s perfect for those eat-on-the-couch scenarios....."
"And after that meal, slide it open and put your feet up to comfort that post-meal digestion. There’s also storage space inside large enough for magazines and remote controls. "

I voted 2 stars on Keith's Reveal Ottoman, due to the pricepoint. For the sake of the design contest/showcase, I should have only voted on design, and given it a 3.
My apology to Keith. Love the ottoman. Would love it better.. in my great room.
(sorry, should have clarified: pricepoint as relates to my budget ~ masterpiece design & craftsmanship)
Price point is always my number one consideration when assessing the value of a thing. What good is something if it's completely unaffordable? Keith's ottoman is cool but I didn't pay $3,000 for my sofa, am I really going to spend that on an ottoman? Not in this lifetime.
I like the idea but, there's something about it that bugs me, and it's not just the price.
That price point is out of control. I couldn't vote just based on the design once I saw that number. =^ (
Hate the price for that ottoman, love the idea. I'm inspired to build my own version on a smaller scale when I remodel my RV this winter.
I love this piece and think the creativity behind it is stunning. I would be honored to have this beautiful piece of artwork in my home.
Love the ottoman. Beautiful job, Keith! It's worth every penny.
I like the idea, but it's too busy looking for me.
Idea & materials: 3 stars

(Too tall, Too narrow - and Yes, Too expensive!)
Cool, sleek and functional design that is a great piece of art! Love it!
One star. I like Akemi Tanaka's version better. Which came first?

No thanks, even it cost ten bucks.
" ... even IF ...
I like Tanaka's version better too. Thanks for sharing, asdf3001.
At that height, there is no reason the coffee table portion should not be completely removable, providing an ottoman/bench AND a coffee table when needed. It seems unecessarily restricted just for the sake of being more "gadgety." And yes, the price is unreasonable.
Can you place links to the products? Recently about half the AT photos have stopped showing up for me. I think it has to do with image hosting and being blocked at work.
love this piece - bamboo material, creative use of space and really cool design!
I like the idea...but it is very expensive, and not so attractive.
