Q: After two years in a bad living situation, I'm finally getting my own place and I'm super excited because I have always wanted an apartment with a white/blue/black beach theme. I have an extremely tight budget and can only spend about $400 on a sofa. I had settled on either the Ikea white Kivik or Carlstad sofas. However, I have read mixed reviews. If it is a bad purchase I would have to disassemble it and ship it back to them at my own expense, which is out of the question. I just don't want to waste what little money I've got on a bad product.
Can anyone give me a seriously honest view of their experiences with an Ikea sofa? I am also interested in the Ikea Poang chair — is that comfortable as well?
