We stumbled upon this site today, and although there's some seemingly great stuff, we were pretty blown away by the high prices. Does anyone know what's up with GoAntiques.com? Anyone purchased anything through the site? Above, our favorite: black & white Danish modern sofa (for $9,500!!).
In addition to the sofa, we found other items that we like but would much sooner turn to eBay or even Broadway Antique Market in exchange for the prices shown here.

Woah.

WOW -- those prices are nutty. I think I'll stick to eBay. Do love that sofa, though.
ouch.that's.too.much.boo.
I thought part of the fun of MC furniture was finding it in some little haunt and getting an amazing deal on it.
I love a Danish sofa but that borders on futon-looking.
Those prices are ridiculously high! Ebay and Craigslist are the way to go.
That Finn Juhl chair is similar to one I saw on Antiques Roadshow recently.
From the photos, it's obvious that these rare antiques are in great condition - therefore, the prices seem reasonable compared to what these could fetch at auction.
Wow. I have the chair version of this couch! I got it via craigslist (chicago) for like twenty bucks several months back (in it's original stain, which is a rich medium brown) from some kid who got it from his parents. It's in really great condition, and while it cost $200 to have new cushions made for it (in natural hemp canvas), it was totally worth it. And a bit less cash than this couch, for sure. Wish I could post a photo...
Prices that high insult my intelligence. And my wallet.
Ah, well!
i live here now : email us a few pics of your chairs!
