We've talked about Casual Stripes In Neutral Settings, Black and White Stripes, Black and White Stripes In Bathrooms and well, we've talked about a lot of stripes. Fact of the matter is, we love stripes and we don't think you should be afraid to go bold with them.
Paint black and white stripes in your home office to keep things bold and inspiring. Add a vintage wood desk and lamp to create an interesting working environment. If you have an all white mudroom or kitchen, add a bold striped curtain or rug to add some serious fun to the space!
Most of us associate bold stripes with big, fat ones — but thin stripes can be just as bold! Paint very fine horizontal lines in a common area and you'll be pleasantly surprised (or, an easier trick — buy striped wallpaper!). One fantastic and certainly bold way to do stripes — on the exterior of your home. Paint a single thick stripe wrapping around the house for a modern and very bold look.
What do you think of bold stripes?

I don't know. That first photo sort of gives me a headache, and the third one makes it look like the walls are closing in. Cool Soviet propaganda posters, though.
Number one, prefer horizontal when doing light and dark stripes.
Number two is deliciously juicy! Especially with the natural wood top.
Number 3....pinstripes look better on pants.
Number 4 is a beaut. Elegant and soothing.
Number 5 is similar to something I plan on doing to my own house, but at the bottom. Good thing I don't have an H.A., and the other houses on the street are all unique enough that it won't stand out...too much.
