Francesco Rugi and Silvia Quintanilla have designed a unique wallpaper that consists of three layers, each responding to a different wavelength of colored light.

In regular light, all three layers of wallpaper are visible, but create pictures that have the same general footprint with slight variations that give a sense of movement through time. When a red, blue, or green light is turned on, the other two layers become invisible and you can clearly see the full scope of one picture.
