Safety definitely trumps style, but why not go for both? We wrote about Rhoost once before, but it was great to see and touch their products for myself at ABC Kids. Not to mention meet the delightful co-founders Vianka Perez Belyea and Tavinder Phull who ensure that their products do the job and look good doing it.

Rhoost has four products: the blind cord winder, the Decoy outlet cover, the Edge furniture corner cover and the Sling cabinet lock. They're designed to be attractive and to respect your home and furnishings. You won't find a single screw or tacky adhesive. Instead they "tap into the natural adhesive qualities of our materials and good ole' fashioned tension to create the grip needed."

Are you wondering what those materials might be? Rhoost uses something called thermoplastic elastomer or TPE which is recyclable. Even their packaging is earth-friendly and good looking:
