Name: Riley Parker (5 months)
Location: Fresno, CA
My husband and I love the great outdoors and knew that we wanted Riley's nursery to be nature-inspired. We didn't want it to scream baby/kid's room, but we still wanted it to be fun and whimsical for her. Ironically the item we spent the most time finding - the IKEA rocking chair - we have barely used, but I love it in the space anyway.
Other key pieces are the bookshelves that my husband made out of wood pallets, the large buffalo print (she loved looking at the black/white contrast when we used the dresser for her changing table), the birch tree wall decal, and the vintage national park postcards over the closet. I also have displayed a decor element used at her baby shower - the forest scene terrarium. Finally, the lovely bird mobile was made by my mother-in-law.
We love the room and we hope she can grow into it for quite some time as well!

I would love to have this for my babies room. Just absolutely different and darling.
Can you tell me what color the wall paint is?
Very nice. Where did you find the grey curtains?
Paint - Valspar Urban Sunrise
Curtains - Target
Just to clarify, my mom was on my computer when she made this comment which is why it shows it is from me, I did not comment on my own room. Thanks mom!
Beautiful! Where did you find the wall decals?
