Riley's White & Bright Pink Room

My Room

Name: Riley (6 weeks)
Location: Dallas, TX

We wanted Riley's room to reflect a sophistication that she could grow into while still retaining the bright colors that babies enjoy. We choose an ultra girly palette of all shades of bright to medium tones of pink.

I had the bedding and roman shades custom made from quadrille fabric. The crib bedding was made by a friend I knew growing up who has an Etsy Shop (Abode Casa Home). We used the fabrics as a jumping off point for the rest of the shades of pink we chose for the room. I always knew that I wanted a striped ceiling influenced by so many great rooms that I had been inspired by and Riley immediately took to staring at it completely fascinated.

The glider was custom made locally in Dallas and the pillow, changing table cover, and sheets are from Serena & Lily. I purchased IKEA shelves and cut them so they would fit perfectly on the wall to display Riley's books, photos, and the like. The zebra art is from Avalisa, the Moroccan pink pouf was purchased via Etsy, and the mobile is from Bla Bla. The furniture is from Pottery Barn and lastly we framed a photo from Riley's newborn shoot and placed it over the glider.
