RIP Anna Piaggi: Memorably Colorful

RIP Anna Piaggi: Memorably Colorful

Whether or not you would ever rock a turqouise couiffure, it's hard to hold back a smile when seeing someone (a fashion journalist, no less) break all the style "rules" with such pure abandon.

Piaggi died today at her home in Milan at the age of 81. Her personal style, life and very influential work are reminders that we can be professional without being too serious, older without being too conservative and elegant without being too expected. And, of course, part of her legacy is that fearlessness when it comes to loving color and pattern is always in fashion!

A wonderful selection of videos showing off her one of a kind style have been posted at Vogue Italia, where she was a long time contributor: Vogue Italia
