These beautiful mirrors are created by British artist Caryn Moberly from pieces of burred elm. The design mirrors that of a river, flowing and irregular. Every mirror is unique, filled with knots, burls and signed by the artist.

Most of Moberly's River Mirrors are made from elm, from trees felled and woodlands managed in accordance with Forestry Commission guidelines. The build process includes kiln drying the wood to stabilize the curing process; however, the wood is not protected against heat and humidity. The finish is natural and lightly waxed. vertical or horizontal fixings.

The elm or oak adorns a 4 or 6mm mirror glass and can all be hung vertically or horizontally. The total thickness for all of her mirrors are 35 - 37mm thick.
