Rob Giampietro, principal at Project Projects (and a blogger at Lined & Unlined), shared his summer style with us:

Sun or Shade?: Shade

The Color of Summer 2010: Light grey. Very '50s, and it makes every color look brighter. Try it with warm red.

All Time Favorite Vacation:

Vieques, Puerto Rico -- I took two planes to get there, and never wanted to leave.

Most Refreshing Summer Drink:

Southamptons. They're non-alcoholic, just mix Angostura bitters, tonic, and a squeeze of fresh lime. We got the recipe right off the Angostura bottle. (Though a Whiskey Sour's not too bad either.)

Planted In The Garden This Year:

Basil. Rosemary. And possibly a few pesky weeds.

Essential Summer Song for Party Playlist:

LCD Soundsystem's "All I Want" is both heartbreaking and danceable. "This Is Happening" in general is a super record. And Fleetwood Mac has been sounding especially great this summer. I went to a party where "Tusk" was played straight through, and it was a treat.

Best Book in Beachbag:

I've just started "The Spot" by David Means. He's a great master of the short story, and the book is perfect for a beach-sized attention span. I'm looking forward to my hero Lewis Hyde's new book "Common as Air" as well.

Thanks, Rob!
