Nomade Express Slee...
My favorite blues are the deeper greenish or purplish ones like turquoise or periwinkle.
Except for the last one (chair), none of these are robin's egg blue. They're all various shades of aqua or powder blue. No. 3 especially, is just teal.
Love the look of the blue ceiling with all white kitchen!
I Love Blue!!!
Chyeaaaah, this ain't robin's egg ma brothas!
Agreed on the not-robin's-egg front, but great for my purposes, nonetheless! Planning to paint my folks' LR blue this summer as a surprise for Mom and this helped cement things in my mind. Also - that teal and bright-almost-burnt-orange combination is rapidly becoming one of my all time favorites, and I LOVE those racing stripes! I think that would be great in a tween room - fun but a little grown up, too, in such a sophisticated color.
I love this! Robin's Egg Blue is so now and so fresh. I think it feels nostalgic and updated at the same time. Love!
You didn't mention how gorgeous RE blue looks with burnished nickel, stainless steel or grey weathered barn wood. And along the lines of red...orange! Hmm, what doesn't it look great with!?!
And thanks for the inspiration, by the way. I plan to paint my bathroom floor robin's egg blue, to match the watery parts of the large map of NYS I'm decoupaging to the wooden floor, marine grade plywood. Am I mistaken or are the watery parts of most globes robin's egg blue? There's just something about that color!!
