My husband and I have always shared a love of beluga whales. It all started when I was living in Atlanta and we regularly went to the Georgia Aquarium.
For my birthday two years ago my husband took me to a Beluga Whale encounter tour at Sea World. So when I was pregnant, it was fairly easy to decide on what the nursery theme would be - belugas! Unfortunately what was not easy was finding beluga whale related decor items that would fit in a nursery. In the end we had to go with some more generic whale items, but we're happy with the end result. The gorgeous wave rug really pulls the whole room together.

The rug is made by 'Momeni' and the style is called 'Lil Mo Hipster LMT-1 Surf'. It comes in several rectangular sizes, but only one round size - 5 feet across. I personally never saw this rug in any store in real life, only online. It's sold by several vendors, the one I personally used was rugdepot.com because they had it for the best price!

The rug is placed over the carpet that's in the room. It doesn't bunch up or move at all because it's rather heavy and big - 5 feet across.

Oh how ive looked for the jackson mobile. Its sold out everywhere :(. I am also in Orlando! Where did you get that decal from ?? The room looks great btw!
Justklasic: The paint brand is Behr and the base color is 'Classic Silver' but we had Home Depot play with the color a bit, so it's not an exact match, it's a little custom.
Shirleyl: That stinks! :( Sometimes the PB kids store in Mall at Millenia randomly had Jackson stuff that was sold out online and not shown on their website as being in the store. For example the Jackson collection had decals that went with it too that we randomly saw in that specific store one day and they were no longer being sold online. So keep checking - you never know!
The decal is a custom one we designed and had printed by Dali Decals (because we had an awesome groupon!). If you want the art file for it, let me know, I can email it to you.
