We made the mistake recently of planting paperwhites in a shallow pot. Now we're going through all kinds of contortions to get the willowy stalks to stay upright. That wouldn't be a problem with this guy, providing maximum support with minimal mass for a single cut flower.
The vase is cast bronze (not stone, as the name would suggest) with a little dip in the bottom for the water. The base is 3.5' wide, and the support is 12" tall. Perfect for the calla lily pictured, or a daisy, or even a fresh branch or fern.
$15, here.

I have these vases. They're nice but they don't have much room for water. You need to check and refill a lot.
