Rocking chairs are the best. Rocking lounges are even better. This amazing Rocker Lounge is a piece created by the Boston-based design duo, Pelrine & Durrell.
The oak that makes the Rocker was picked up in Nantucket by the design duo, when they had noticed the materials were headed for the dump. Pelrine & Durrell frequently design with reclaimed woods, and the Rocker Lounge is a perfect example of their vision and mastery over simple, reclaimed materials.
What was one man's trash is now a beautiful, ergonomic chair that you will most definitely fall asleep in. This piece has gotten such a popular response that Pelrine & Durrell plan to make a limited edition series of the Rocker, made with the same dimensions as the original.
Get ready to rock.
Check out the original Rocker Lounge and the rockers to come at Room 68.
