Name: Rodellee
Location: Miracle Mile - Los Angeles, California
Our bathroom (Image 5, above) never fails to make people gasp, I don't blame them, there is a mosaic of Swan Lake after all by the bathtub! I know it's weird to really like a bathroom, bathrooms never get featured, but I have to say, ours is pretty snazzy.
I love that our apartment has tons of natural light in the living room/office, the fireplace (although bricked up) is really amazing and the mantel is home to souvenirs from travels and photoshoots.
We try to furnish with vintage and recycled pieces so nearly everything in our apartment is sourced from a vintage shop, flea market, thrift store, or Craigslist. It took a really long time to accumulate pieces we love to replace temporary furniture and even now our apartment is still a work in progress.
My favorite find is probably the 1960s leather chair and ottoman found at a vintage shop in Orlando, FL. I drove by, double backed, and bought it on the spot and worried about transporting it back home later. When you love something, buy it right then and there, no regrets!
Thanks, Rodellee!

Shaw's Original Fir...
so light and airy!
"When you love something, buy it right then and there, no regrets!"
couldn't agree with you more. i try and go by a slightly different saying, "the best time to buy a rare item is when you see it". also, i love the idea of using that ladder/step stool as a bedside table.
you have a beautiful home. i love the idea of using a little, wooden step ladder as a nightstand. great idea!

very nicely done! all that natural light!
Love the vintage bathroom tile work. ahh those lovely color combos. you did it justice though.
I also really like the side table/ladder in the bedroom. Details on where its from?
I'd love to see a pic of the swan lake mosaic in the bathroom that you reference!
I dont know if its the wallpaper in the bathroom or what, but that picture seems distorted and hard to look at without getting googly eyed! But the house is beautiful! just my style!
this definitely needs to be a full house tour!
Wow - gorgeous and creamy! And in my hood! Well done! Would love to see a house tour!!!
Beautiful - house tour, please!
LOVE the sofa! Where did you get it ?
Love, love, love the bathroom ceiling! Wow! I have been avoiding decorating my bedroom, but you have inspired me. Beautiful!
love the ethereal feel of this home.
i was also surprised to see my sister-in-law's etsy spoon pillow featured on your bed. how exciting to see her work featured on AT.
I always love to see photos of my etsy items in use, but you did an especially great job of finding the perfect spot for them! And your bathroom is gorgeous
oh so jealous. bed frame is from west elm? i believe?
so lovely.
Who makes that lounge? It is beautiful!
Rodellee as in Adore Vintage Rodellee? You have such amazing style that it's no surprise your home is equally stylish. Lovely home!
I like how the wallpaper in the bathroom obscures the divide between wall and ceiling.... Also, are those a dining chair version of the hans wegner shell chairs? o.o
I'd like to know the source for the bathroom wallpaper. And I'd love a house tour, too, please!
We definitely need a full house tour, for two reasons: swan lake mosaic? and close-up of that front door!!!
wow, i love that white plycraft chair! what a great find!!!
Love!! So envious of your chair/ottoman, great find. Also love your headboard and your sofa. Very airy and feminine feel to your whole place.
The nightie in the bathroom is also so cute. (I know I'm supposed to be looking at the decor but I can't resist good loungewear).
Wow Wow Wow. Impeccable. And Fun. Comfy and Beautiful.
Thanks you all so much!
@Vintagehoney - The ladder (which converts into a chair!) is from INHERITANCE in Los Angeles
@sharrr - Yes, it's Rodellee from Adorevintage ^_^ Hello there!
@lepidoptery - Definitely inspired by the 1960s shell chair, but not designer.
So lovely, and I echo others' calls for a House Tour, if only to see the Swan Lake mosaic!

GORGEOUS. Full tour immediately, please!
@KylieD - Sofa is from ROOM SERVICE
@KatieG1234 - Our ceiling in the bathroom is actually curved/dome shaped. The pic was snapped with a Leica to get the ceiling/wall together
@BetterOffNow - I have three towel racks in the bathroom, so this one doesn't get any, it would be towel city
@mskarilynn - West Elm bedframe yes :)
Gorgeous - house tour please.
love love love the color palatte. I'm moving in. ;>
So bright! I love the monochromatic style- very chic yet lived in. I've seen that step ladder/chair in other homes before and LOVE it!

@kbmmmm - Rug from Urban Outfitters
@as3087 - Leaf pillow from Urban Outfitters
@queenyellowsun - Haha maybe sorta? I don't know, I mentioned it because it's one of the oddest yet coolest feature I've seen in an apartment
For anyone interested I did a blog post awhile back of other pics of my apartment Inside the Adorevintage Apartment

Love the lush cream color scheme... Swank!!
you definitely have the decorators blood...well done.
Gorgeous. Is the coffee table by Paul McCobb for Planner group? Regardless it is the perfect scale and style.
@Andrew Schultz - Thank you so much! No, the table isn't by Paul McCobb, but definitely inspired!
I reblogged this post on my own blog which has more pictures of the crazy bathroom if anyone wants to see. Here.
This is by far my favorite house call on Apartment Therapy. It's gorgeous, and though it's swankier than our kids would put up with, I adore the style. It has so, so helped my husband and I narrow down how we want to decorate our new house.
i would never part with that mantle. why did you move, sigh.
HI! I love your room and especially the chair. Do you have any information; who designed it, the origin etc? Thank you!
