A dining room is about the food and the people who gather there to enjoy it so we feel it's best to keep it simple. The key ingredients? Comfortable chairs, good lighting, easy access to the kitchen. ROkoko20's dining area fits all those criteria.
The soft palette of cream and white is calm and inviting. A few plants add life, a few block letters confirm this area's purpose, cutouts of leaves are an intriguing but not distracting decoration.

Shaw's Original Fir...
I love the pastel "eat" letters and the greenery on the table: they bring a touch of color and playfulness to a somewhat unremarkable kitchen.
I find this remarkably boring.
I love the restrained palette. And I especially love the leaf cutouts. Source? DIY?
i feel sad and lonely
i wonder if the "blonde" color furniture is a trend...i keep seeing more and more blonde-gray rather than dark.
I think the little bunny on the chair is cute.
Call me crazy, but it's not calming to me. I recognize the harmony in the colors and neutral palette and I like how it was done.
But the neutrality makes me tense....I need color in a kitchen!
Where are the table and chairs from?
Table and chairs are from my local furniture shop.
The leaf cutouts are from Tk&Maxx.
Feels inviting and calming. May I ask what paint color that is?
"zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....."
It's Creme Brulee from Dulux Moda
Reminds me of visiting Mennonites and eating fresh bread. Love the centerpieces.
I think it's very nice. I love neutral earthy decor.
Nice job on the calm color pallette, and I like the maple dining table & chairs.
BUTTT I cannot understand the necessity to spell out things with wooden block letters. I see these big ones all the time at homes in AT. R E L A X, L O V E, E A T, and then sometimes it's just the random "&" or punctuation marks. Maybe the letters help in teaching English just as the "big balls of uselessness in bowls on the coffee table" help in understanding Math... ?
J O Y & P E A C E to everyone who enjoys them!
I hate to be negative, but I agree with peachpie. It's a little too neutral...
