We love how this bedroom feels "grown-up" without seeming stuffy or overdone. All of the elements came together to make for a stunning bedroom. Basically, we've kinda fallen for the space--let's break it down after the jump!
The powder blue walls seem to ooze texture--whether they're matte or eggshell, we're in love. Even the beds silhouette against the blue wall combined with the dainty bedside table is quite elegant. Modern elements are mixed throughout the space such as the creme pendant lamp and white storage unit. The textured bedspread pairs nicely with the shimmery floral wallpaper--making the room feel romantic but not overdone. We also love the extra touch of the IKEA frames with the glass taken out. Instead of framed pictures, wooden angel ornaments get a second life displayed inside. And last (but definitely not least) are the vintage wood chair and towel stand making for a cozy nook in front of the patio.

Go Busy Bee!!!! LOL
Those Ikea shoe-storage units look great arranged like wall panels that way
Due to getting a larger/higher bed, I recently had to move the large framedpieces I had above my bed to another wall. Basically it meant another wall became the focus wall, and I wasn't sure if it was working visually or not. It's interesting to see another example here of the focus wall not being at the head of the bed.
I really am in love with that wallpaper. The pale blue accent wall works perfectly too! Love the whole thing. Except the headboard. But I would take everything else.
Looks like the wallpaper inspired the entire room. Beautiful.
Wow, I LOVE that wallpaper! What is it?
I normally don't care for wallpaper, but I think yours looks terrific. There's just the right amount of it, and it goes well with your paint and other furnishings.
Great use for IKEA's Trones shoe cabinets. Never thought about using them like a dresser in a narrow space, but clearly they'd work well for that.
I did consider paneling a wall with them once, though . . .
What do you store in the Trones cabinets? They look terrific with that wall paper.
