Picture Description: Found on Flickr: not traditionally romantic (though that's not my style anyway), but inviting and cozy with a relaxing color palette. You'd have to shoo away the cat before getting romantic, however....
Romantic Bedroom Tip:
A bedroom with a television can't truly be romantic -- it's too distracting. A romantic bedroom needn't be frilly, but should be comfortable above all else.
Thanks, ImmaterialGirl!

I like that wall fixture! Anyone know where it's from?

if that cat is anything like mine, he's not moving.
Where did you get the ceiling fixture?
I mean ceiling fixture :)
It looks like the Knappa from Ikea.

Everybody and his cat has that chandelier! (I'm just jealous...there's noplace in my house I could hang it.) I also like that door for a bedroom, I'll have to copy that idea.
I think I'm more enamored with that cat than anything else in the room... It looks like he melted onto the bed!
This is the bedroom of Yvonne from Yvestown. Info on the room, the cat, the lamp, and the rest of her lovely home can be found here

charming and relaxing
How is that ikea lamp hung from the ceiling? My room has pretty low ceilings and I want to hook my knappa (thats collecting dust right now) up to the existing light fixture. That picture almost looks like maybe theres some other light ikea makes that the knappa fits on to hardwire it into the ceiling.
this is the best room yet (and not just cause of the cat). :-)
it's pretty easy to hardwire a plug in light. essentially you just cut the plug off (well cut the cord to what ever your desired length is) get a canopy to cover the ceiling box, attach the appropriate wires to each other and voila! Over simplified instructions of course, google around and I'm sure you can find pretty easy instructions. I know there were also a few discussions at some point on AT about how to do so you might want to try the search here.
forgot to add how much i love this room; not my style at all but the photo makes it look so inviting
and one more thing, foreverfrida thanks for the link to the yvestown blog, what a wonderful home!
