I absolutely love it.. I love that brown! What is that behind the bed?
Put together artistically. Personally, for that extra finishing touch, I would have a white good quality very 'fluffy' bedspread replacing that flat white sheet you have on it in the picture. It would just add that extra cosy look to the whole of what you have created. I like how you placed the rug under the bed and got away with it even though it didnt meet the mirrored wall. That looks good and I will have to keep that in mind next time. By the way, if you ever did happen to get a fluffy white bedspread, then I would see what it would look like to replace the rug with the same type but in a matching dark brown (same brown in darkest part of wallpaper)- (you could dye it). I reckon that would look awesome too even though the colour you have looks nice. Lemme know what you think even though my comment may sound crazy to some =) - Art is fun.
You know, after looking at your bedroom a little more I have another idea. (LOL). I can see what you were wanting to create with that lovely gold framed mirror you have at the far bedside with the lava lamp in front of it. Though I think it is beautiful in itself I would swap its location. I'd place the mirror up on the wall above that small white shelf you got (where currently all your black and white framed pictures are), and then place the lava lamp somewhere appropriate on the shelf too. As far as the black n white framed pictures (if they are not too heavy - they dont look it - but I would find a way to stick them up onto the mirrored wall instead (perhaps strong double sided sticky velcro tape maybe?) Place them up in a funky fashion there. To me it would appear neater that way cos the gold framed mirror at the bedside looked out of place and seemed to drag down the natural balance of the room. The very dark brown small chest of drawes in far corner of room could be moved too if it creates an imbalance after this is done (under bedside table or under white shelf...) This is the very first day I have ever written comments and even been on this site. It is so intersting and fun to see everyone's arty and creative rooms, so I hope my thoughts are okay to place. =)

What a lovely bedroom. I agree that it is cozy even though it has a working space. Nicely done!
