Kitchen wall and storage. This wall was completely bare when we moved in. A few IKEA trips later and it works great as extra counter and storage space.

This is wonderful! The shades of green are lovely, and I'm glad they include the plants. I'm taking notes for my kitchen... Is that a shelf that serves as counter space? Or is it a counter? Don't forget to put your butter back in the fridge!

Hooray for green! ... hey, do you keep those plants on the top shelf all the time? Looks a bit dark.
Anyway. Very cool! Do you use the shelf as a cutting board?
Oh, this is just *perfect.*
Now if only I could to this in my kitchen....
Thanks all-----the counter is from IKEA, and was like $50, the brackets were from there as well which hold it up.
We use a bamboo cutting board just to keep the counter in good condition. But you totally could use it as such if you wanted.
Here's the before pic...
I'm going to echo the other commenters. I adore the green and the plants make me happy! :)
i'm going to do this in my kitchen! cheers!
*Too much unappealing clutter – utility items are not decorative.
*Cover the lower shelves with a set of curtains.
*Use a utensil basket that can be stored away – it’s easy to transport.
*For spaciousness, try upper narrow wall shelving.
*Beautify the upper shelves with a set of decorative dishes and glasses – stand the dishes vertically.
