That yellow light fixture in the first room is to die!!! Any idea where it is from?
I love the next to last image with the built in foot-to-foot beds, and I'm smitten with the yellow light fixture too!
I have 5 year old twin girls, and we renovated their room last year. They don't have a large room, so we chose to build storage beds from Ana White's site.
We love the way they turned out!
Apparently, the secret is to have two cribs or two beds, in one room. ;-)
Oh boy, was finding out we were going to have twins ever a surprise! I will remember the day we found out forever.
We plan on keeping our girls in the same room as long as we can. None of our bedrooms are especially large, so I'm definitely envious of Ian and Eleanor's foot-to-foot built-in bed arrangement.
I am quite envious of the space in Amelia & Paul's room!
I, too, had a shock and a half (plus hysterical laughter) when I found out there were two little beans instead of one. We almost went with mini cribs but opted for full size. The girls seem to have lots of room and I hope they can stay in their small 100 sq ft room together at least through grade school.
Ooh, I love the foot-to-foot beds too! I've got a designated kids' room that currently holds two, soon to be three, so any space-saving multi-bed ideas you've got are helpful.
