We know two people who live on Roosevelt Island. And we know suprisingly little about the place and what it's like to live there.

We haven't taken the gondola over but we did go by subway once. We remember the time the gondola got stuck a couple of years ago. And we know of the haunting, abandoned psychiatric hospital there. But what's it really like to live there? What's the commute like? Do all Islanders know each other? Is it quiet? Do any AT readers live there?
