- What I Love About My Small Home:
- When I first saw this apartment, I was amazed by its simplicity, with the kitchen open to the living room and both accessing a terrace.
All the furniture was chosen in order to maximize the space and keep the minimalism the apartment possessed. I really love the way the living room can be modelled and transformed: from inviting more people to have dinner to the possibility to open the living room into the terrace for a great summer party. This small space is multifaceted and, thanks to careful furnishing and decoration, can cope with all of these situations. It is proof that a small space can be the perfect home to entertain in!
- Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space
- The biggest challenge of having two people living in such a small space was definitely ensuring all the needs were met: we wanted a good sofa, preferably leveraging on the great view of the apartment, a space for book storage, a table for up to 4 or 6 people where we could eat and also work, and a smaller workspace where we could to go through the daily emails, for example.
The multifunctionality of the furniture has been essential in the living room, as the table can be enlarged to accomodate up to 6 people, and the armchairs are also comfortable to work for long periods. The shelves on the wall also maximized the available space, freeing the rest of the room to allow the exterior view to spread along the interior.

OMG, first portuguese entry (that i've seen), what a thrill. I follow AT since 2006 and wait all year for small cool so this is a dream come true. I sometimes feel I live a world apart on so many ways. Congratulations, rosalia, your small house is really really cool.
a portuguese entry!! so cool :D
love your view!! the apartment is very clean and the layout is perfect. i would add some color, though.
good luck ;)
Love Lisboa!
This apartment is tight for storage space but the terraces more than make up for it.
Beautiful view and lovely terrace. I'm thrilled to see a portuguese entry! Congrats!.
Lindo, Rosalia! Gostei!!!
Beautiful view.
Beautiful. What a gorgeous wallpaper in the bedroom.
The balcony (and the view) is to die for.
^ Agreed! What a view!! And the bedroom is stunning. Nicely done.
What beautiful wallpaper in the bedroom. Love the subtle shine and pattern.
Lovely! Very good taste in everything. I LOVED the wallpaper in the bedroom... and the balcony, just great
Come on! Not one, but TWO lusophones this year! And both with great terraces! It's a dream come true :)
I'm in love with the wallpaper in the bedroom. But something's missing in the dining area, I guess. Such a nice view, not so cool surroundings.
I voted and the score went from 72 to 59. I voted for another space, too, where the vote when from high 50s to 38. I certainly hope this can be rectified.
I just voted and it went from 82 to 81!!! Something is wrong here!
(Great apartment and view, by the way!)
the same happened to me when I voted!! strange :/
Beautiful apartment! I love it! A view to dream for...
And I'm glad to see a portuguese entry :)
Good Luck Rosalia!
That view and wallpaper...YES, please!!
