Room for Color
If I had a kitchen like that, I'd be tempted to learn how to cook!
What a happy-feeling place! Love the bright colors. So glad our entry is in a different category so I can freely favorite this! :-)
Love! Is that an interior stained glass window? Extra love. We have a fully interior window between our dining room and an adjacent addition, and I would love to make it a decorative art piece!
Wonderful! It's so bright and cheerful. I'd love to spend time in this kitchen. :)
Ok yours is the fourth fellow entry I have favorited! I love this kitchen! Let's see your kitchen, "Rohde's" bedroom and "Jane's" living room. Thanks to the "Room for Color" contest I now have my dream house. Now off to find my bathroom!
Charming. Wonderful inset stove, great deep farmhouse sink intelligently placed right next to a petite dishwasher. A bright and happy space.
Rosanne, your kitchen & sunroom are beautiful! Love how that vibrant, modern-vintage sofa & nesting table trio nestle jussssst right under the gorgeous view of the outdoors. Adore the sunroom; yet, I wish at least one of the three sofa photos was swapped for more images of that amazing kitchen. Your stained glass view would make me eager to wash dishes anytime! House tour ... pretty please? Can you tell I hit the favorite button?! ;-)
Charisse is right, this really is the perfect kitchen
Not big on country/cottage look, but this all looks good and interesting. Gave it a favorite.
It is indeed, I found two fused glass panels in a junk shop and worked these into my design, the light from the sunroom behind brings colour into the kitchen and beyond the sunroom you will see another panel which I used in my greenhouse outside.

I take my inspiration from the the things I find in charity shops, junk shops (I think you call them Thrift shops in USA) so it really doesn't have to be expensive to create a beautiful home and re-cycling helps save the planet ! If you can't find exactly what you're looking for you could always commission a local artist or designer maker to work their magic and you'll have a truly unique, bespoke, talking piece for your home and keep artists in a job!!
a little bit delicious, a bit like you & yours...xx
Thanks for all the lovely encouraging comments on here.....x

So inviting..GOING GREEN is our thing in the USA ...I love vintiage also. You have my vote..this color contest has given us ideas for paints and accessories to enhance the whole color pallet. Thrilled about the floor tiles too.
Absolutely stunning. Such a joyful vibe - oozes happiness and warmth. Contemporary, classic and super stylish ..... wish it was mine!!
Crazy for the sofa. If it's new, where did you buy it? You have made me love black and white floor tiles.
wow, I wish this was my kitchen. I love the brick and the window/painting thing above the sink. In love with all that green outside of the nook window too.
As soon as I looked at this kitchen, I smiled. That's how it should be!
I love the place where the sofa is! the big window and the ivy wall on the yard is lovely <3
The Sofa is vintage 'Ercol'. x
Designed by Lucian Ercolani, the Studio Couch was first introduced in the late 1950s. It was designed to function both as a large sofa and an occasional single bed for guests. It features characteristic steam bent arms and was made from solid elm and beech in the Ercol factory in Buckinghamshire, UK.
