Barcelona based rug designer Nani Marquina has some stunning new rugs. We saw images of this Roses rug in
Dwell and fell in love. There are a few colors to choose from, but this red felt makes us want to roll around naked on it all day…
maybe too much information- sorry.

This rug is a cheap copy of Cappeletti rug of Illu Stration. Compare at www. feltshop.de.tt.
And it is made in India.
can anyone help me find a super chunky custom abaca rug?? I saw one in AZ, but was told that the LA supplier had gone out of business. I am a designer and am embarassed to admit that i haven't been able to find a source. Thank you!!!
You would never roll around naked if you saw the video of how the rugs are produced.

Yeah and everyone knows everything from India is low quality. ;) I love Cappeletti too. Mary ann does amazing things with felted wool. So what no one else can use felted wool in rugs? No doubt its a new technique in rug making. Then designers use the new technique to express their designs. I think Roses and Field of Flowers by Tord B are good examples of this. I dont think you can call using a new technique a cheap copy of the first design. Lots of chairs have four legs but no one calls them cheap copies of the first four leg chair. I like all of them and we are sure to see more. Cheers! ;)
The higher end carpets are made in Barcelona.
Just wonder how it would fit with classic mid-century like a shag would.
