Sometimes, the classic rectangular or square coffee table just won't do. In today's open floor plan or loft style, organically shaped tables keep the room flowing and allow the freedom to arrange your furniture in a couple of different layouts. They come in oval, circle, egg, leaf and even amorphous! With these nine beauties, you'll never get "cornered" into a fixed arrangement.
These curved beauties are unique and accommodating. Some of the smaller tables have the potential of serving as side tables or accent tables, fitting easily into various areas of your space.
Best of all, some of these are made of eco-friendly materials like FSC-certified wood, iron, and sustainable materials. (See individual links for details on each piece.)

A lot of these are our grandmothers' coffee tables.
I laughed when I read the title. I would love my grandmother's coffee tables, actually. She has #8 and something similar to #9.
My grandmother was born in 1898, so Yes! These are not my grandmother's coffee tables. But I wonder what my grandchildren will think?
My grandparents were big fans of what people are calling mid century modern. The Noguchi coffee table was in their living room along with the Herman Miller lounge chair and a few others. I found it pretty funny when MCM came back into style - it was something I'd always enjoyed in my grandparents' home.
Enough with the "granny/grandmother" equals "unstylish" usage. Noguchi (1904-1988) and the mid-century modernists you reference would be puzzled by your, ahem, youthful naivete.
I love glass top tables, but I had one years ago and spent so much time dusting it. Never again. But man, some of those almost make me change my mind. Almost. That and the fact the one I adore is a replica at over $1000. No way.
Meanwhile, over at Grandmother Therapy, the top posts are: "Trusting Your Own Taste: Not Your Grandchild's Desperate Fear of Being Uncool" and "Why Does My Grandchild Think She Invented Midcentury Modern?"
No--my grandparents didn't have coffee tables. But, my parents did-- just like most of these at one time or another. Sorry but if you saw these the first time, these are just look old.
yeah, that first one looks a lot like my grandma's coffee table.
Yeah, grandma chic, I liked it then and I like it now.
I love those cb2 tables but they're too short for my needs. Anyone know where other similar styles might be found?
I bought a replica of the Noguchi Coffee Table in black at Goodwill a few weeks ago for only $40. It had three little scratches but they're hardly even visible. Everyone loves it! :)
