We were gifted a beautiful weekend in Southern California and took advantage of the warm weather and blue skies by bike riding around town. We happily take this mode of transportation when we can and it inspired us to roundup 10 bike posts from across the Apartment Therapy community. Check them out after the jump.
We hope these bike-inspired posts encourage you to do a little bike riding around your own neighborhood soon.

Rode my bike to Abbot Kinney for First Friday this last Friday night. Beautiful weather and such a great way to celebrate spring with friends and strangers alike.
*sniff sniff* my bike got stolen this weekend :( Silly me, I shouldn't have left it unattended in a controlled access garage, in the bike storage, chained to a pole. Next time I'll be more careful. Ugh.
I wasn't very good at riding my bike when I was a kid. But my husband and I went to Mammoth Cave and decided to rent some bikes, just to try. I couldn't believe I could do it still and how much fun it was. We bought bikes when we got home (I recommend a cruiser if you're a little unsteady); it's just about the only form of exercise I'll do without whining. We even moved to a house near a bike trail. Can't wait for the weather to get good again!
