FIRST ROW
• 1 Old world tile from SICIS in a refreshing color palette, seen on Cococozy.
• 2 Moroccan inspired tiles from Dar Interiors with a contemporary glossy orange splashback, as seen on Living Etc.
• 3 Also on Living Etc., a bold canary yellow backsplash over the stove.
• 4 Walker Zanger, a great source for beautiful tile, shows this geometric pattern in neutrals that packs some punch without the need for bold color.
• 5 HGTV offers this image of an ocean-inspired backsplash made of recycled glass.
SECOND ROW
• 6 Becoming Home shows traditional subway tile in a beautiful sky blue color.
• 7 This cerulean backsplash is similar to the recycled glass look with a more saturated punch of color, seen on Mosaic Source.
• 8 Zimbio shows off this polka-dotted backsplash in 70s inspired colors, that manages to look fresh. Tiles from Stardust Glass.
• 9 Another backsplash from Walker Zanger and a south sea pearl tile from Artistic Tile, both seen on K+BB Online.
• 10 We love the injection of a bit of Southwestern flair into the kitchen (with light pink cabinets? yes, please!) as seen on Living Etc.
A fantastic way to add color, texture, and luminosity to a kitchen is in the tile work--whether it be a backsplash or an entire wall. Allow us to present some of our favorite inspirational kitchen tile images of late.

#9 Walker Zanger tile is beautiful. Perfect for a classic kitchen.
Very nice! I wish I could tile my wall. :(
love #2, but am not a fan of that "crazy tile" look (#5, 7, 8)

Wow, #1 is fabulous! Not for an amateur to attempt, unfortunately.
Don't love the colours in 1, but the look is beautiful. I agree with superbeetle though, I'd want to call in the pros. I like 2 and 4 as well.
Number 8 gets so much play on this site. Not my favourite look, but it's a good way to tie a few different colours together in the same space.
Stunningly beautiful backsplash! I'm partial to glass ones myself but these are simply fabulous.
