After living in a small space one may start to get creative with how to appoint limited square footage. After setting our sights on a corner chair while browsing our routine design spots, we’ve become quite taken with the idea of them. With considerably limited wall space, and the non-existent opportunity to float even just one chair in the middle of the room, the corner chair presents a novel solution. Easily tucked into a small area, but providing coveted seating space, we’ve really warmed up to this unique furniture option—especially in these interesting selections…![]()

Um - Exactly how is that round orange leather chair a corner chair?
I always thought the Frog chair was perfect extra seating for a small space-

bebsf, probably because its compact size and design would allow it to fit easily in a corner? geez, lighten up.
ooof! there isn't a single one that i'd buy.
"probably because its compact size and design would allow it to fit easily in a corner?"
Um, no - a Corner Chair is a chair having an approximately square seat with a leg at each corner and a back extending around two adjacent sides. It's also known as a "roundabout chair"
Size has nothing to do with it, my friend.
how do you sit in these? with the corner between your legs? or with your legs closed scrunched up to one side?
oh.... and just to be silly "I'm not your friend, buddy...I'm not your buddy, pal"
I was also wondering the "proper" way you are to sit on these square corner chairs.
"how do you sit in these? with the corner between your legs? or with your legs closed scrunched up to one side?"
Are you wearing slacks or a skirt?
bepsf, luckily I'm not your friend. I think JessicaBlake's point here was "easily tucked into a corner."
The Calving corner unit is the best one.
Where do you put your arms when sitting in these chairs?
What better to place in a nook than a chair like these? Who is up for a newspaper read and some tea?

When I purchased a lovely sectional sofa set, there wasn't room for the connecting corner "unit" so I moved it into another room as a corner chair. Works and looks great!
I wonder if the makers of the square fronts never sat on their creations. I'd like them all a lot more of the fronts were rounded. It'd make the sitting more comfortable, don't you think?
Does anyone know where or how I might get my hands on the aqua-blue colored corner chair shown in the above picture ? It's exactly the color and type of chair my daughter is seeking for her bedroom. The link at JCP says its not available. If I could only find the mfg., or someone who bought one, and no longer wants it, that would be great !
Please send me an email at zbigkid@gmail.com if you know a resource for that chair ! Thanks !
