September is Pets Months at AT! Though you can't have an elephant as a pet, you can have an elephant watering can. We found the photo above in our flickr group "Apartment Therapy DC" from member throw her in the water. This gray can has more details than the green watering can we saw in Helen's House Tour....

Elephants shown here from Fred Flare. The elephant below is from Helen's House Tour.

a bit cute. but better than seeing pink elephants
I don't live in DC, but I love elephant watering cans! I've got a pink elephant watering can from Target myself.
Cute!!
I love my gray elephant watering can! Got it in Arlington, Mass at a little shop on Mass. Ave. (just like the one pictured).
It's available on Amazon for $4.

Can anteater watering cans be far behind :)
These are sooo cute. I have to have one.
so adorable! off the topic, can you just leave plastics like that and plants on top of a heater? I have heaters like that at my new place and I've been wondering about how safe it is.
this happens to be my photo taken in my apartment! what a surprise to see in on here today! (i do love my elephant watering can...and elephants in general!)
to clarify concerning its spot on the radiator - the radiator no longer works. they installed centeral heat, but left the radiators in place. i think this is a fairly common thing for older buildings. i wouldn't leave either of these items on a radiator during the winter when it would generate heat. that would be bad news to the elephant AND the cactus.
